He did it!

My husband Troy graduated from Frederick Community College yesterday! I am still on cloud 9. I couldn't be prouder of him. This is his mother hugging him. She was so very proud. She said that she never thought she'd see the day. This was her child that she would drop off at the front door & he'd leave out the back door of the school. He never finished high school, but got his GED (good enough diploma, haha). He also went to drafting school & completed that, but has long dreamed of getting his college degree. Well, the day has finally come! He received his AA in General Studies & will be on his way to his BA in Construction Management starting this summer. After starting & quitting college for years, at 39 years old he did it! Way to go baby!

Spring is in the air!

Sunday was so beautiful here in Maryland!

My husband Troy & I went to Baker Park for a relaxing picnic.

I packed quite a variety including crackers with cheddar cheese & apples, hummus with french bread, sushi, boneless chicken wings and fruit.

We sat out there for several hours just noshing, napping & people watching. After a few several hours we took a walk & saw lots of great houses & churches in downtown Frederick, MD.
